2. Products

Au Berceau d’Or sells online products featured in the E-shop category of its website: www.auberceaudor.ch. Au Berceau d’Or takes the utmost care to provide the most accurate possible information on its website. However, Au Berceau d’Or accepts no liability for the photographs, characteristics and descriptive texts of the products which carry no contractual value. Note that the product images may vary slightly from the original, Au Berceau d’Or can not be held responsible for any such discrepancies.

3. Availability

Depending on the level of demand, the availability of these products may change from one hour to the next.  Regular stock checks are carried out by our sales team but despite our efforts, Au Berceau d’Or cannot be held responsible for discrepancies between the stock listed on the website and the actual stock available at the time of purchase by the customer.

Au Berceau d’Or is committed to ensuring regular inspection of its items available for sale online. If an item is no longer available, the customer will be informed of the delay caused, either via the product detail sheet or by email. In the event that an item purchased from our online store is no longer available, Au Berceau d’Or will reimburse the customer within 10 days of purchasing the item. Under no circumstances will a compensation fee be enforceable from Au Berceau d’Or aside from the full refund of the order.

4. Pricing

The prices on our site include VAT in Swiss francs (CHF) and VAT applicable on the day of order. Prices shown may change at any time and without notice.

The total price indicated on the order page is the final price.

This price includes the cost of the product, manufacturing, packaging and preparation. Shipping costs will be added at the final step when ordering and will depend on the type of delivery chosen by the customer as well as the destination.

5. Orders and payments

The customer must be a major buyer to order from the e-commerce section of the www.auberceaudor.test website. Purchasing goods from the www.auberceaudor.ch e-commerce website means the buyer agrees, without reservation, to these general terms of purchase.

Entering the order details to complete the purchase binds the buyer to these terms.

The client undertakes to provide Au Berceau d’Or with his name, postal address, email address and a landline or mobile phone number, where they can be contacted should either our service desk or the carrier need to reach them.

After finalising the purchase on the www.auberceaudor.ch website, the customer will receive a confirmation email to the email address indicated. This validates the contract between Au Berceau d’Or and its customers, providing that the product is available.

The customer may pay for the order online at the Au Berceau d’Or website using the following secure payment methods:

6. Gift vouchers

The customer can choose the value of the gift voucher they wish to buy.

The period of validity of these vouchers is one year from the date written on the voucher on the day of purchase.

7. Shipping

Once we receive an online order, our team takes care of shipping it as soon as possible. The order is shipped by normal parcel post except for gift vouchers and orders over 500 CHF.- for which shipments are made by registered mail.

Au Berceau d’Or delivers parcels up to 30 kilos in Switzerland. Delivery of a parcel exceeding 30 kilograms, a customized quote can be issued to the customer, upon request, to the following email address: info@auberceaudor.ch

For sales outside Switzerland, a customized quote can be asked by email. Swiss VAT will be deducted from the sale and the customer must pay the carrier import taxes, the VAT in their country and customs fees directly upon delivery. Au Berceau d’Or does not know, nor does it control the amount of taxes payable in foreign countries.

Once an order is placed and if the items are in stock, parcel(s) will be shipped the next day before 16:00. This handling time must be taken into account before finalising your order.

8. Shipping – Returns

Exceeding the delivery time will not constitute grounds to seek remedies and damages.

Upon delivery of a package, it is the customer’s responsibility (or person present at delivery) to check with the delivery person the condition of the goods and to notify them in writing on the delivery note or electronic device, of any problem related with the shipping (parcel damaged, warped, wet, punctured, etc…). The parcel must be opened in the presence of the delivery person to check and then confirm with them that the overall condition is good. If this procedure is not followed, Au Berceau d’Or will not take back the parcel.

Should the parcel be damaged, the customer can refuse receipt of the parcel by indicating to the delivery person clearly and in writing the reason for refusing the parcel. The customer can return any damaged parcels to Au Berceau d’Or within two days after having contacted our team at the following email address: info@auberceaudor.ch, in order to explain the precise reason for the return and to be assigned a return number.

When returning a defective package, within 2 days as stipulated above, Au Berceau d’Or will carry out an inspection of the package and aims to exchange or refund the goods within 15 days.

Should the customer wish to return their non-defective goods, they may do so at their own expense. The refund period shall be for 7 days from the receipt of the order to return of the goods to Au Berceau d’Or. Reimbursement will be in the form of store credit for the value of the order, available to the buyer for a period of one year. A refund will not be granted if the goods are not defective.

Returned merchandise must be in perfect resale condition, complete and in its original box, with the tags, the instructions, the packaging undamaged and a copy of the invoice..

Unclean or incomplete goods or items not found in the above-mentioned condition will not be taken back by Au Berceau d’Or.

9. Personal data

The online store www.auberceudor.ch is subject to federal law on data protection. Therefore, sensitive data collected on customers (name, email, address, telephone number, payment information) will not be passed on to third parties or any other commercial organizations.

We use customer data solely for the purpose of good order and deliver management and to send news and information electronically. Upon written request to the following email address: info@auberceaudor.ch, by the customer, Au Berceau d’Or will remove the customer’s e-mail from the mailing list should he/she no longer wish to receive advertising material.

Au Berceau d’Or wishes to draw its customers’ attention to the fact that, despite our best efforts, we can not be held liable for the theft of confidential data from our website.

The customer may amend any personal details on our website www.auberceaudor.ch. To do this, a simple email sent to: info@auberceaudor.ch is all that is required, so that our customer service team can make the amendments.

10. Intellectual property

All rights to the content visible on our site www.auberceaudor.ch are reserved by Au Berceau d’Or Ltd. or have been used with the permission of the owner of the copyright or of the brand. This content may not be copied or transferred without a prior written request being made to Au Berceau d’Or under penalty of sanctions for Intellectual Property theft.

In case of dispute, Swiss law is the only applicable law.

12. Birth list and Babyshower

Article 1 : Object

These conditions of use of the Au Berceau d´Or SA birth / baby shower list define and develop the implementation procedures for the birth / baby shower list program.

 

Article 2 : Opening of the birth list / babyshower

When opening a list, the holder (s) adds the items they would like to receive from their relatives who can purchase the items or by financial contribution in the form of a gift voucher. This list can be modified at any time in our boutique with the help of one of our advisers or directly by the holder (s) of the list on the website.

Only permanent items can be included on this list. Special or seasonal items may appear without guarantee. However, if the holder (s) wishes to have these items, they must participate by making a deposit. Items are billed at the price in effect on the day of purchase.

 

Article 3 – Contributions and arrhes

Financial contributions to a list can be made through the purchase of items or gift vouchers. Following a contribution, the buyer receives a confirmation email as well as the holder (s) of the list. Only the holder (s) of the list can use the gift vouchers. The items offered as well as the gift vouchers are kept in the Au Berceau d´Or SA boutique. Only the holder (s) of the list and collect the items. Delivery can be arranged by contacting the boutique.

The purchase of articles, or financial contribution of an article of the birth list, does not imply any commitment of immediate availability in the boutique unless a deposit has been made in advance by the holder (s) by contacting the shop.

 

Article 4 – Exchanges and returns

Exchanges and returns of items are accepted within a maximum period of one month from the date of purchase, in their original packaging, unused and on presentation of the sales receipt. Items that have been the subject of a special order are neither returned nor exchanged.

 

Article 5 – Change of adress

Any change of address must be reported to the boutique. Au Berceau d´Or does not take responsibility for shipments made to an old address if the new one has not been reported beforehand.

 

Article 6 – Closure of the birth list and benefits

The list is closed automatically after one year from the date of opening. The list can be closed at any time by the holder (s). At the end of the list, a 10% discount is calculated on the amount of purchases made on it, excluding items on promotion or sale, and excluding any item that has received a prior discount.

The discount is awarded in the form of a gift voucher, valid for 1 year from the date of issue and can be used in several installments.

Vouchers are unique. They cannot be replaced or reimbursed in the event of loss, theft or exceeding the expiry date, and cannot give rise to a monetary return.
