Thanks to its 360 ° rotation mechanism, you can easily get your child into the car by putting the seat facing the door and then turning the seat facing or back to the road depending on the size of the child. Because it is the safest way to transport your child, the Sirona Zi i-Size can be used rearward facing up to 105 cm, around 4 years old, in a very comfortable position. In fact, this system prevents the seat facing the road from being used before your child is 76 cm tall.
The Sirona Zi i-SIZE is comfortable and manoeuvrable, with a 12-position height-adjustable headrest and 5 tilted rear-facing positions and 3 forward-facing positions to make it easier for your child to fall asleep. For the smallest passengers, a special “birth” reducer with head and body pads allows them to be installed in the best ergonomic position.
Compared to traditional forward-facing seats equipped with seat belts, rear-facing car seats reduce the risk of injury in a head-on collision by more than 80%. Crash tests show that the impact force in a frontal collision is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the hull when the latter and in the rearward facing position. Compared to other existing five-point seat belt systems, “ER-Tech” reduces the force exerted on the necks of children in frontal collisions by more than 20%.
